Diving into God's Word

This is just a little story time. When I was a freshman in college, I had this urge to start a bible study group with some friends. I didn't do it. Whether that was just a seed planted or an opportunity missed, I'll never know, but I do know that 11 years later, the same stirring in my spirit came back and this time I responded. I was in a "wilderness" season in my own life where the Lord was really refining me and instilling His purpose and plans for my life. One day in that space He told me to start the group and He said "now." By then, there were already some friends I had connected with individually that I knew would benefit from this community. In the first year, we focused on understanding our identity in Christ, God's plan for the fullness of time, and growing in intimacy with the Lord. The fruit and
testimonies were consistent across the board. Everyone grew in understanding and desire to read the word. Everyone grew in consistency with prayer and consecration to the Lord. Spiritual gifts were poured out and a sisterhood was formed. What had I become a part of? The next year, the Lord placed it on my heart to start a second group with ladies from my YouTube community. Similar things have sprung forth. People getting baptized, sharing the gospel confidently with strangers, praise reports from intercession, overall being more confident in reading the Word of God and secure in intimacy with the Lord. DEEP DIVES
We are growing our understanding of what it means to be part of God's holy nation through the teaching of the apostles, intercession, and building community. We've had so much fun cross-referencing New Testament letters with teachings of Jesus from the Gospels, and Old Testament history, laws, and prophesies. And we have found so much value in encouraging one another through our testimonies, prayer, and the true Word of God.
GUIDED BIBLE STUDY
While leading Bible study, I found myself creating a Bible study curriculum with the intention of organizing the what we were studying and when. After feeling led to start a second Bible study group with the YouTube community, I realized I had everything I needed to be able to dive in. These resources are now available to you to begin studying on your own or to start your own Bible study group with friends and family.
